hello,
I plan on cranking the t-bars tomorrow and after reading quite a few threads on the subject i have a few questions.

I am unsure if i will need to re-index the t-bars.
are the threads that will be used up the ones at the end of the bolt or the beginning of the adjuster bolt (begining is the head).
i am thinking that as you crank the torsion bars it will start to use up the threads near the end of the bolt. If i am wrong please correct me.
If this is the case i have about an inch of threads left on one side and an inch and a half on the other.

I have about 76 mm of droop right now and the plan is to crank until i end up with 50-55 mm droop. i think arb recommends 60 and Slee 50 minimum.

If my thread assumption is correct would that inch i have on one side of the adjusting bolt be sufficient to lift the truck another inch up?

regards,
m.a.d.

Should be enough if you haven't added extra weight to the front end. Drive it a little and measure while parked in a few different places to be sure you are happy with ride height. Then get an alignment before you bugger your tires.

o.k.
thank you,

by the way, don't try to level the truck. let the front be at least 1/2" lower than the rear or she'll want to start pulling on you. when unloaded, the LC like to have its head down a little.

Yes. thank you.
i went for a ride and it's now at a smidgen over 50 mm for droop.
i think before the back was like over 2 inches higher than the front. would like to go even higher up front but ran out of droop.
