Any pointers which part of the right-hand (steering wheel side) swivel hub this washer-like part would have come from?

OD 31.8, ID 20.3, H 1.95mm

I've just rebuilt the hub with new bearings, spindle, wheel hub, locking hub etc

Kept the old swivel housing and brake disc, that's about it.

That appears to be your axle seal. When everything is out of the axle housing the seal is set in the hole for the axle. It is pressed in and sits flush with the inside of the knuckle ball. It would be unusual for the seal to pop out when you pulled the axle, but it is possible. Without that seal, the gear oil from the diff will come out through the knuckle. Sorry if you already reassembled everything, but it would be prudent to check to make sure the axle seal is in place before you drive it. I always replace the axle seals when I rebuild the knuckles.

No way it's the axle seal at a thickness of 2mm... The only washers I remember at the knuckles are the 8 that are part of the top and bottom of the knuckle that support the "caps", but they are not 3cm in diameter...

@Campbeld can you take a side profile pic and another of it flipped?

No, it's not an axle seal. It's a washer that is big enough to fit over the king pins. When it was disassembled, the guy reckons it was under one of the swivel bearings. However, on reassembly with new bearings everything was way too tight with the washer installed on the top or bottom kingpin. Also I cannot see this washer listed on any parts diagrams.

Just wondering if anyone with a similar or same vehicle has ever seen this washer fitted in the swivel hub. Trying to verify whether it is a legit part or someone has rigged up a dodgy job. I.e. put in under sized bearings and took up the space with this washer.

Good point.

It appears to look like an axle seal with the paint rubbed off like that. I suspect this washer had nothing to do with the axle rebuild and is from something else entirely and accidently ended up with the parts.

Axle seal already installed. Axle seal has 50mm outer diameter and a "rubber" seal inner.

And more correctly, there are only 4 of those on a 2002 front axle housing on the bottom. The cap on the top adopts an 80 series style in 1998.

Only thing I can think of for a 2002 is the washer (90201-19011) at the bushing of the front "arm" (48610-60022), though I'm not sure if the size would make sense since I've never seen it.

Thanks everyone, I re-inspected the old bearings. They look really worn down. I'm strongly suspecting someone has jammed these washers in to try eek out some more life from the bearings.

No sign of these washers on the diagrams and also no one seems to know about them.

I'm going to send it!
