The service department difference between Lexus and Toyota has nothing to do with tech but yes Lexus is leaps and bounds better. Something with Camry/Corolla customers coming in for their 14.95 oil change that ruins a service departments desire to be helpful. Can we please get back to talking tech and discussing what from a 100 would transfer over to a 200? Or has that already been listed and now this thread should be closed or moved to chat? Interesting how actual tech threads get side tracked with chat so quickly.

Yeah dude, with your help anything is possible. :)

and I'll take a 200 in a few years.. I'm going to rub goldfish into the back seat and lay otter pops on the tailgate too.

Beat ya.

The company that outfitted the Top Gear Arctic Hilux's outfitted a desert oriented 200.

I'd take one. But at over $30k for a 200 right now, I'd only use it for road trips, shopping, dates, etc. In which case, I'd rather have a 2004+ G-Wagen (wrapped in satin black vinyl of course) or a 2007+ Range Rover (GASP!). More presence, more luxurious, more douche bag appeal.

That mentality is what killed Toyota in the USA, IMO.

Reminds me of the Supra that was just a Toyota at the end of the day. Not a Porsche or some other car with more douche appeal.

What killed the great 90s Japanese sports cars was tJapanese asset price bubble of the 90s. When that burst, there wasn't' a domestic market for $50k japanese sports cars anymore.

I doubt Toyota is losing a lot of market share to $125k G-wagens and Ranger Rovers in the US. They're only the same price as LC's used because of their rampant depreciation. The availability of cheap Tahoes, escalades and navigators probably has a much larger influence here.

These types of sales numbers will keep prices sticky for years to come -- there just ain't enough of them available. While I love having a vehicle most others don't, I'd love a 200, and selfishly hope they start selling as many as they do Corollas.

The sales numbers say there were more 08-09's sold in the US than 06-07's. This is including LX570's... which has been outselling the LC200, 2 to 1.

2013 has ventilated seats. Can't believe an aftermarket group does not offer ventilated seat covers, it's just a fan blowing cold interior air through the seat cover. Not rocket surgery.

Probably have a 200 one day but it is 5 to 6 years out at a minimum. The 400 ft lbs and 6 speed are just to good to pass up.

The g and rr are poser mobiles along with most other 4 wheel drives (including all the jacked up heeps). Just check the super black chassis and realise the vehicles have never ever been in the dirt.

If you are going poser, get the cayenne turbo diesel that gets 29 mpg on the highway. At least it's turbo diesel. :)

I plan to buy a 100 or 200 in the next few years (gotta pay the Tundra down or off first) and I would absolutely buy the 200. If you've never driven a truck with the 5.7L you really need to. I'm not saying I wouldn't own a 100 but the price difference would have to be pretty big for me to settle. 381hp and 401tq is awesome.

The G can back it up, most of the owners are a different story. Triple Lockers, "Thats where I put my ski/tennis gear". ;<)
