As well I also offer a refurbishment service for your knobs and switches. Prices are $20 a switch or knob plus 10 shipping back to you for the whole order. This includes cleaning the assembly. Polishing the trim ring and cleaning, polishing or painting the knob. Some knobs only need polishing to get them back to the original look others need a coat of plastic paint. All knobs will have the lettering repainted.
So I have been working on cleaning up and refurbishing the switches and knob hord.
This is what I started out with.
One on left has had the switch cleaned and the trim screw polished. The one in the middle has just been cleaned and the one on the right is what I'm starting with.
The internals are removed cleaned, contacts polished and lubricated with dielectric grease.
Trim screws are stripped of the chrome since most of it is already coming off. Then I polish them on the buffer to bring back the shine. Then they are sprayed with a clear coat to keep the shine. Look pretty good.
Knobs are then cleaned and all the white lettering removed and then sprayed with a black plastic coating.
Then after a week of the paint drying I enlayed the white lettering with a needle.
This is the finished product.
$35 dollars each shipped anywhere in the lower 48.
