Very nice!
I would consider that but I actually use it for my sunglasses and presently I don't plan on adding any further lights or accessories that'll be needing switches.
But I've always liked overhead switches.

Not a bad option and similar to the soon to be released (we hope) Treaty Oak Switch Pros mount in that area. My concern is having all of those switches and having to have each one powered and grounded, that's a lot of wires running under the headliner and up the A-pillar. Is that the case or is this a true switch panel that is fully fused and wired to a controller? As silly as it sounds, I do enjoy using that cubby for my sunglasses as well even though it's a tad on the small side.

I have the dumb wide angle mirror. was there an option for a sunglass holder for the 460? I have a 2012.
That is awesome and would have been all over that, but I installed an Auxbeam switch panel and that will do for now

I contacted the guy on GXOR and he conformed that it's simply a switch insert. He said he's sending a few out to some guys this week to install. My fears of the immense wiring or need to use a telephone type cable still abound. I hate dealing with multiple switches but for those that don't mind the work and lack of space involved, this will be a nice option.

If you go that route, you might want to consider ribbon wire like this:
Amazon product ASIN B07P77YRB2
It'll help keep your wires neat, and easy to figure out if go with the multi color ribbon.

Headliner actually has quite a bit of space... the A-Pillars aren't that bad...just make sure you don't drape wiring over the side airbags.

For those that haven't removed... just remove the two bolts holding the handle piece on and pull that trim piece straight in toward middle of dash... It pops off really easy.

Another thing...keep your sunroof drains clean.. seen too many now funnel water down through the A-Pillar area because of plugged sunroof drains and right onto the ECUs that exists below on each side.

Got a pic of where the drains are? I'd like to use my compressor to blow my drains out. Not sure if they need it but it sits outside under an oak tree every single day so I figure it couldn't hurt.

I don't have the rig at the house at the moment but if you open it up you will see them in the lower front left and right area below the small wind deflector... rears...just have to trust they don't get plugged as headliner drop.. I don't hear about rear plugs though

Where do the drain hoses lead?

They come out just in front of the door... you will see fluid drain out onto the ground there if you put a little washer fluid through them

I like the general idea, but mirror Tex’s concerns. I want to go to a cleaner wiring setup, but if that wasn’t a concern, I’d like this option (except you’d have to explain to the wife why she lost her spare sunglasses holder in the rig).
