There is already a fairly competitive ($20) and well known Tacoma solution that works for the 80 series instead of that cubby. It using the stock bolt holes from the stereo bracket.

Thanks for sharing just got off work and got quite a few questions about it. Heres what it looks like in w 93 80 without switches:

If your dash isn’t broken, it should be real flush, but alas my corner is broken so theres a gap.

No this is a solid solution. Maybe it can be improved upon but it’s not worth the premium a CNC’s piece of aluminum at 5x the price would support.

I really dig the ashtray switch panel personally. It gives those who run a double din radio or a CB in the cubby an option.

haha yep. My 18 YO wears his proudly as well! How does he like riding in the rear seat with no legroom? Our son is cramped sitting back there.
