Suspicious Wiring

Guys,

I found this in the engine compartment and want to see if any of you might know what these wires went to originally. You will see in the pic that it looks like maybe a factor ground block but someone before me cut both wires for some reason and just left them that way. Any help would be appreciated

Those are not original wires. There is no one on this forum who will be able to tell you what the previous owner used them for..

But if you want people taking random, wild guesses, my bet is they were used for charging a vibrator.

probably a common ground for something aftermarket judging by the additional aftermarket wiring in the pic. i would just remove it

Given the self-resetting thermal circuit breaker, I'd guess that was for trailer brake wiring.

I used something similar for a trailer brake controller. It is an auto reset fuse.
