Hey guys,

So after cruddz drove my 100, he confirmed that it rides very rough compared to jeffs. I believe i have the HD OME (silver) coils in the back, but i was wondering if i could put in a softer coil with a spacer or something to maintain ride height? I remember someone offering me their stock coils, but i cant remember who. Also, would there like to be anyone to come check out my suspension setup, as the PO did not tell me what was on it.

After some of these trail runs, and lifting tires way too easily, i think i would like to change suspension, but maintain my lift and tires.

Any help is appreciated.

you're welcome to compare to my 2 100's. One has OME 865's in the rear with OEM Toyota t-bars and OEM Toyota shocks all around. It has Slee sliders and a TJM T-3 bumper (not too heavy), otherwise weight-wise mostly stock. It is the rougher riding of the two. I also have a 2004 with OEM springs and t-bars, 30mm spacers, and t-bars cranked to match. It has some kind of OME shocks on it, rides pretty good. I also have a sat of the original Fox 2.0 shocks (not the remote reservoir kind) that you're welcome to play around with, though with the weight you have, I'd imagine they'd be too soft. Anyway, wheel lift compared to what? Another 100? or an 80? The 100's are wheel lift machines... So much goes into suspension and ride quality. I also have extended sway bar links on the rear of the '00, which should theoretically help wheel travel, and air bags on the '04 which probably hurt rear wheel travel. Are you lifting the rear wheels, or the front?

Great videos Rob ~ Your daughter did great for a young driver.

Ive heard this from Phil before too: "turn passenger..... other passenger!" :hillbilly:

I may take you up on that! I live in the east valley as well.

Meanwhile...

Good job Rob. Driving off road teaches some advanced driving techniques she would never learn on the street. Plus, you don't have to pay for the rocks when she breaks them.

First time Phil spotted me on a run I couldn't figure out if more easies meant easier or just keep being easy, or even "hey dummy slow down ore your gonna break your junk":hillbilly::steer:

Her favorite memory of that was having to touch up the dings on "mom's" sliders before she found out...
