This is going to suck -

Ive done 2hr one way trips to more than a couple of SC80s M/G but I will not make this one.

I will still be into Sat evening at Valyermo cleaning up after a camping overnighter for my daughter's Girl Scouts Troop. I just got "volunteered" by my girl to stay. :o

I was going to leave early Sat AM to make it down and hand out beer but it will not be so.

I'll be there Saturday, though a little tardy. I got the earliest flight I could out of the east coast and I'll see you all around 11:30-noon.

Looking forward to meeting you guys!
Brad

Brad, good news glad you'll make it. Too late for donuts but just in time for lunch. I'll have tuna on wheat.

Alan, too bad dude, but what a guy for volunteering. What a great dad. Did a lot of my "time" with the Boy Scouts with two sons, but now my daughter's going for her Silver, then Gold. I'm not sure I know what I'm getting into on that one. Heard the Gold was tougher than the Eagle rank (?).

If you guys need anything from the store for lunch just give me a holler and I'll stop by the store before I come over.

Hey guys...We have had a couple of folks that can not make it and just wanted to get a heads up on who will be able to come by. (Just getting nervous that it will end up being me, a handful of tools, a lift kit and NO CLUE on what to do). So if are still able to make it (remeber my FREE :beer::beer: bribe) please post up and let me know. Thanks!

I hate to add to the list but I won't be able to make it. I am bummed I won't get to meet everyone but just won't physically be up for it yet. Enjoy a few cold ones and post up some after pics of the lifts.

Mo do you have any suggestion on how to install those camber corrections from that Man Fre Kit? Im looking at the picture at their site and its too dark to go underneath my truck - but according to them no weld or cutting required and you still use your control arms.

Thanks.

I will be there maybe late and maybe not for a long time but I will come unless I get hit by a bus before then....

Don't those just bolt up (or drill and bolt up)?

I'm looking forward to it. It will be the first time in a month that I've been able to put in some time like this. Should be good to get some stuff done and meet some new folks. Mo, sorry you can't make it, was looking forward to meeting you. Still planning 0900.

I'm still in!

Looking forward to seeing some new faces!:hillbilly:

Again, I'm definitely in! :D

Flying into Long Beach at 11:30 and my car is parked just around the corner from Sean's place so I should be able to get over pretty quick and lend a hand.

Looking forward to it!

Sean, if you havent already, print up the OME install instructions from Slee's site. Its a good write-up many have used before.

The beer is in the fridge and I am looking forward to meeting the group tomorrow !
Anytime after 0900 is cool....

You might have enough time to install yours.

See you in the morning..

I haven't done any first hand but it looks like a straight forward bolt on. One in the factory radius arm rear bolt location and the two forward tranny/t-case crossmember bolts.

Have fun tomorrow guys.

Hey...Just wanted to say a quick THANK YOU to everyone that helped with the lift this afternoon! It was great to six 80's in front of the house and to work on not one, not two, but three in one day. I leave for a business trip in the morning, but will try to get pic's up ASAP.

Thanks again and I hope we can get together on a regular basis!

White 80's dominating the streetscape in Long Beach....:D

The newly lifted ones are (from left to right) Sean, Me and Dan in the center. I put on the OME 850/863 combo. I believe sean put on the OME j's and I'm not sure what Dan upgraded to.

I definitely want to press in the new bushings because it is noticeably more difficult to keep centered in the lane on the freeway.
