Look at all those white 80's, that is a thing of beauty. :grinpimp:

Yeah, all-in-all, I'd rather be wheeling, but wrenching is the next best thing.

It was a great day, great weather, good guys all working for the same thing. It was great to meet some of the folks for the first time, renew old acquaintances.

Here's a before and after of mine. I only changed the springs, turns out I now need new shocks. One OME was totally shot, and I also broke the LR lower shock bolt on removal.

Before: 851/860's (light duty 50mm lift) About 9:30 AM

After: 850J/864 (75mm front lift heavy, super heavy duty 50mm rear) About 1:00 PM

Glad you guys all got it done....It was great meeting all you and now we need to get out wheeling...guess it was a good thing I left...wouldn't want to be the only green truck...

Good times, and I'm glad I participated. I should be able to install mine without too many problems.

How does your rigs handle, any changes?

It was just green with envy. :D

Hardly. Even after all the lifting, Tim's was still the tallest truck there!

And for Mike's handling question, I won't know 'til I get the *@m# broken shock mount bolt fixed.

Oh, and anybody have a N73L they're not using? (ordering new front shocks tomorrow along with slee brake lines - it never ends!)

My girlfriend almost fell out of the truck when I picked her up yesterday! haha  :hillbilly:

She went to get in like normal and about half-way through the "step in" motion she didnt have enough momentum to get all the way up and she fell out and spilled her coffee on my new floor mats

She now has to use both hand holds to pull herself in. I kinda feel bad about it, so I'm going to bump sliders up the list...all in the name of the :princess: of course ;)

I guess it's time to start a new forum. . . .

SoCal White 80's :D:D

I think we're up to 10 white rigs.

...all in the name of the :princess: of course ;)

However you need to justify it to yourself is OK by me. My GF can't get in without the sliders and there is no way I was going to lift her in every time! So I guess mine were all for :princess: too.

Come to think of it; I needed to install the S/C so :princess: would stop complaining how gutless the Cruiser was compared to her GX470:grinpimp:

It was fun meeting/seeing everyone - looks like more lift will have to be in my future:flipoff2:
