My fellow 'Mudders'
I have a question - I am suffering from the dreaded 'cruiser sag' in the back end of my 60. As it is right now, susp. is dead stock.

I know many people choose the OME route, and I am considering it as well. I have done some minor research on the OME 'Light Kit' from Man-a-Fre. OMEKIT-60BLL86-90 Stock/Light Loads Basic Kit$775

I don't plan on doing any hardcore off roading, just some minor beach driving and trail rides.

However, I was wondering if there were any budget-friendly solutions that are available i.e. AllPro, etc.

What I want: Slight lifted look, however I just put on 4 new BFG ATs 31 x 10.5 x 15, and don't intend on buying 33s anytime soon.

I can post pictures if it will help.

Thanks,
Jake

Lotsa info on this... Try looking through the FJ60 stickies, FAQ's & doing a search.

Most folks agree on OME Med/Heavy as best long term multi-use value for the $$$$. 'Budget' will still cost over 1k after shipping.

That said, I bought 2.5" BDS kit here on Mudbay (haven't installed it yet), same 'general purpose' use you are looking for.

Here is mine with Man-a-fre Add-a-leafs(the long ones and it is still pretty stiff). With BFG AT 31x10.5's. I really like how it turned out. I wish I could find an OME spring that would only give me an inch or inch and a half lift.
Good luck,
Paul

I went the same route as jp waltz with the long Man-a-fre add a leafs, running 31' bfg mt's
Shipping to GA was pricey though
For the $ its a great mod and will definetly take the rear sag out.
Only downfall imop is it rides stiff, but my shocks are shot as well.

JP mines the same color and setup..nice!

thanks sterling! I put on some ome shocks that I got from a fellow mudder to replace the super shot original ones. That helped take some of the bounce out of it. Its not too bad now.
