How essential are lockers to get to these places? Wouldn't mind going out on a test run with you some time Phil.
First batch of apache tears out of the tumbler today... One more monster to put in.nice! A friend took us out there to look for Apache Tears today. Neat place.
So I went out to these places today, looking for some good campsites to take the Scouts to. Is there any road access to that canyon, or just to the overlooks? I ran the two roads past the Apache Tears gate/monstrous-boulder location in my '03 100 without even airing down. Was on a tight timeline, and had 2 daughters with me. The cliff overlook and the lower road that loops back north to the west of the gate are both narrow, rocky, and have limited space at the ends for camping. Would like to get down to the creek to the south, but may have to hoof it?You could of easily made it, I didnt leave until 1Pm. I cover a lot of terrain solo or with one vehicle in a short amount of time. Let me know when you want to go back there is lots more to see with a nice camp spot.
