Does anyone know where I can find article numbers of TRD supercharger parts? This is Toyota TRD, but I assume TRD is part of Toyota and man can buy parts because they sell TRD parts and thus have part numbers?
But can't find anything about it.
I need article number of this part:

Toyota/TRD hasn't produced the supercharger for years. I think Magnuson does now, not sure if it's the exact same design and if parts will cross over. How on earth did that happen? Looks like it has been welded once already.

Magnusson does, but that company has nothing to do with Toyota.
I don't know how it happened. Previous owner in Syria.
You have no idea how I can get article numbers?

Again, it hasn't been produced by Toyota for years, your only/best shot is going to be seeing if the Magnuson parts will interchange. Or maybe picking up a used one, which will likely be complete, off Ebay.

What Trunk said. Or, since the cover hasn't totally failed, find a decent machinist-fabricator and have that cover repaired. That one still has some life left in it if done correctly.

To quote Jeremy: "That's toast!"

I understand what you are saying. But Toyota has also parts for an old Corolla in stock that they didn't produce last 30 years. So maybe they STILL have parts in stock. I will not rest before I have been able to check that.
Getting a used parts is even harder than getting a complete set. Like seeking a needle in a haystack..
Maybe repairing is an option, but only if I am sure that Toyota has no parts in stock anymore.

I-want-the-part-numbers :)

Parts for a 30 year old Corolla weren't sold as extremely small production kits by a teeny arm of Toyota. Even when it was in production I don't believe the individual parts were available, I think only the wear items - the belt. You've got an option for new that you don't seem willing to explore, so best of luck with OEM.

^^ that. Also, Toyota dropped the supercharger after noting what it did to the 2UZ. Was apparently an item of tension between TRD and Factory Toyota. Thus why Magnusson is the go-to for support now.

I'd make having that part repaired a primary path, and look for replacements as a secondary.

It is not for myself but for a friend from Russia that is not on this site.
I pointed him in the repairing direction.
I have not that much trust in the Magnuson route, because in first it is a different set and that results in variation of measurements. Only if they bought the design it will fit. Besides that, they discontinued the LC100 version. So they also don't produce it anymore. But if the repair isn't going to work out, he'll ask Magnuson.

Thanks

Was it ever actually produced (manufactured) by Toyota/TRD, or was it just a TRD branded product, manufactured someplace like Magnuson?

AFAIK, Magnussen has always produced them for TRD.

Eaton Supercharger component > Magnussen kit > TRD/Toyota.

For the nose cone/snout, Try PN: 00602-17620-471 (PTR01-34040-47)

Wow... You rock!
Thanks. The parts doesnt seems to be that expensive too. ( if it really is deliverable what would surprise me too :) )

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it was no longer available (NLA) through normal channels.

As for why the original nose cone cracked... well, I know folks have had issues with replacement serpentine belts fitting on SC'd 4.7's. And I also know the OE replacement tensioner pulley has changed diameter over the years. So, when installing the new belt, if it is extra tight... I'd find a belt that was 1-2 cm longer.

sorry to threadjack a bit but you guys seem to have all the answers. i have an 04 LX. i have the opportunity to buy a bare TRD supercharger off a 4.7. What else will i need, and are they available from anywhere to get it bolted up? i assume some fittings, lines, belts, engine management? if i bought it, id send it for a rebuild first, but want to make sure im not buying something i have no ability to install bc parts are non existent.

thanks
