I'm going to sell them for $500. That's about the price of the tire brand new but without wheels, mount & balance, nuts and shipping. I paid $750 for them to my door. I have between 4K and 5K miles on them and only one off-road trip on them.

so you got a buyer?

No buyer yet, well my friend said he will take them but he doesn't even have his 60 yet and I'm not waiting for him. I was going to run a local add here in the near future, I'm just cringing of throwing in the extra dough to get my 35's and wheels, but it has to be done.

I spoke with a kid yesterday with new 35" SSR's on a minitruck...said they were quieter on the highway than his old BFG's.

Thornbirds??? ARE YOU HIGH? As a former Thornbird owner, the only positive thing I can say is that they look cool when cruising the strip. :princess: Do a "Thornbird Tire Review" search to get the lowdown on them. BTW, there are always folks looking to dump these for cheap so if you do decide to go this way, you might be able to save some $.

Whatever you get, make sure it's a radial.

so you're asking $500 w/o the rockcrawlers or with them, wasn't clear on your previous post....i might be interested if your buddy doesn't come through.

Asking $500 for the tires still mounted on the wheels, lug nuts included and if you need it a 33x9.5x15 pretty worn spare on a stock Cruiser wheel. So the whole shibang! Ready to mount on your rig. And I'm not waiting on my buddy for these, first come first serve, you know....money talks. :D

man that is really really tempting....unless someone else jumps on it before i do, i'll sleep on it and discuss with the wifey. btw, got a paypal account? would make it ultra easy to do the deal. also, anyway to post up pics of them just so i can see what i might be buying?

Yes on Paypal. And I can get some pics up tomorrow when it's light outside. I'm all full on my upload space here right now but I think Doc has a place to post and link. I don't know how well you could see them on my "I'm new here is my 60" post. I will get some good shots for you.

Anyone have feedback on how Radial TSL's do on the road? any pics will help too. I don't have far to go everyday

I've got a set of 36x12.50 SS RadialTSL's on my SOA FJ60.
They work awesome on(winter too) and off-road.For my set-up they are too skinny for the rocks. The tread compund is soft so they do wear fast. With wheelin' and DD I can't see a pair of SS lasting more than 2 years IMHO. I run a set of 38.5x14.50TSL/SX(bias-ply) and these are bit more of a chore on the road.
It all depends on what kind of wheelin you will get into.BFG's sidewalls won't make it in the rocks or tree roots/stumps.
What pics do you need?

so you're running SSR's on your soa 60? a pic of that would work. thanks

Not SSR's but SS 36/12.50 TSL Radials or SS 38.5/14.50 TSL/SX.

Super Swamper Radials will be OK as long as you're not expecting 50K outa them. My bro has a set of the 32x10.50s on his ride and he's got 25K on them and they still have plenty of tread. He's a fanatic on the "correct" air pressure however so I'm sure that helps those tires live.

I run a set of 35x12.50 SSRs on what you guys/gals refer to as a Heep. :flipoff2: They're SUPER quiet compared to the standard radials. (inside tread is siped) They also provide decent tractiopn when it rains heavy. I have yet to run them in the snow/ice...but I imagine they'll do just fine from their wet performance.
