Hi All, did a little searching and seems like common issue but don't see a fix without replacing. About to order a new one but want to confirm color. Can someone help me out. Looks gray to me but in some lights tanish? Gray?Ivory? Ecru? The side trim is lighter.

A couple of simple fixes:

Not sure if they'll work, but they look simple and quick enough to be worth a try before you buy.

ours work differently than either of those. I'd like to see what's inside ours. It'll give a better idea on how to modify it. Sometimes its a clamp that can be tightened, sometimes its friction with plastic or rubber that just wears out.

I think it's friction with a cam. I just swapped it out with new. I kept the old one so could cut it open and see but have to ruin it to fix it from what I saw.

My drivers side is gonna need to be addressed soon. For now when it starts to sag a bit I just open it and close it hard and that works for a while. I want to just fix mine and keep the original visor.

IMO: One would probably have to fillet open the assembly on top edge with a utility knife to address issue. I don't think there is a clean fix.

I would like to replace the visors with more current visors where the entire visor slides on the rod to cover the side windows instead of the plastic piece that slides out of the visor. If anyone has found such a replacement please let us know. And, no, I don’t care if the vanity light works. I never use it and I have some bright ass LED bulbs in the dome lights that are more than sufficient.

Do the newest GXs have those sliding visors? I wonder if RX or LX visit do and if the fit the mounting holes.

AFAIK... 460 visors 10-22 are all the same.. part numbers seem to indicate that
Bah! It surprised since like 99.8% of everything else is the bloody same. LOL
