Sun Roof Leak

I live in Maryland and we have had 10+ inches of rain over the passed 4 days. And this leak in the sunroof is so annoying.

FJ80. The leak appears on the inside of the windshield lower passenger side corner. I isolated the gasket and sunroof. Glass guy seal both side of the gasket. The windshield is not the leak area.

Drain tubes are clean and not blocked. Used a hose and funnel up against sunroof drain and the link is not from the drain. Filled the area in the sunroof and was able to narrow down the leak to the ARROW area.

Replaced these covers on both side with 95-97 up dated. Was not the fix
63256–60011 right
63255-60011 left
93249–64008 screws

Does anyone know how to seal the foam type gasket ?

You can also do the "Inner Tube" addition to your glass seal by slitting a 1/2" wide strip of a 26" bicycle inner tube and inserting it UNDER the lip seal on the glass to tighten the seal between the glass and the body to reduce the total amount of water coming in so it does not overwhelm the drain tubes and drain pans.

Bicycle Tube Sunroof Fix/wind noise gone!

Search for "sunroof Inner Tube" or "sunroof wire" and you will get plenty of write-ups. There is also a thin wire version to do this.
