This is an image from last weekend. Now some primitive camp sites are not accessible with a vehicle and this site had a bike trail that went through it. The bikers going through was annoying. On top of that, the Cicadas were more than a nuisance!
I think if there is some good interest, the Michaux Park reserve can be reached out to get more information on a group event. There are lots of winding roads that go through the forest.
Laurel lake and Fuller Lake are nearby foelr boating, cycling and hiking.
The week of Sep 6-11, I'm unavailable due to other commitments.
The primitive sites are Free on a first-come-first-serve basis, with registration through the DCNR website.

Interested, unless I already missed the boat on this. Always a bit dicey with two little ones at home (too young to camp or ride in a 40 yet)… Looks like this might be a fall get together at this point?
later works better for me - more chance of the baby sleeping through the night by then and more time to fix the caliper that fell off the 40

Fall sounds good to me. The group camping trip a couple years back was excellent if a weekend event is the idea.
