Suggestions for March 5th Trail clean-up/run

We have 4 of these dates set for the year. March 5th is the next one coming up. If you missed the first one at SheepsBridge you missed a fun event.

I hear through the grapevine that we will have upped the anty on raffle items

Post suggestions, ideas, potential raffle items here

I vote for Coke Ovens.
We were there last weekend. Nasty.
s*** everywhere.
The ovens themselves are being trashed.
But that slope between the ovens and the trail proper has just become a dumping ground.
There was actually more trash than shell casings! I dont think I've seen that anywhere
else in AZ.
But I also would like to coordinate our cleanups with local ranger stations. Anyone know
the one that covers the Martinez trails?

This idea was thrown around at the Sheepsbridge cleanup:
Pick 4 regions in the state.
Pick a ranger station in each region.
Ask the rangers what trail they would most like to see cleaned up that year.
Less likely to overlap with other clubs, so the same trail doesn't get attention 2 months in
a row while others go neglected.
What do y'all think?

Sorry my friend the dates are set so we can all plan around it, check the calendar thread above. Being a moving target myself I know how hard it is to hit the date

I'll be out there tomorrow to check conditions. And hopefully get some pics. I believe that the Coke ovens and Martinez Canyon are both on private property therefore there is no Govt. agency in charge of the area and all our efforts are merely ours to revel in.
