ive had an 80 series, GX470, 100 series...and although I loved all of them I just wanted something newer. (Mainly so I am not putting money towards repairs rather upgrades)

33s on Methods
Front runner roof rack
Sliders/armor

Work has been really busy the next few months so progress will be slow.

Hello all...

So last few months have been spent endlessly working and planning the build for the GX. Plan was to get it going a couple of months ago to take advantage of the summer but Covid kind of put everything on hold.

Well last few weeks the itch was just too strong and I gave in...so here's what I have planned for the next 10 days or so.

1. 5 x Method MR305 Bronze 17x8.5 0 offset
2. 5 x Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17

And now I am sure you're thinking what suspension I'll be using to lift this bad boy to fit the 33's...well...*DRUMROLL PLEASE*

Icon Stage 7 with Billet UCA and Tubular trailing arms.

I know this kit may be a bit overkill but I just wanted to buy once cry once. With this kit I know no matter what I do with this truck I'll never have to worry about the suspension. And after having gone through so many trucks, I know this will be one that I hold on to for a while and want to do it well.

Everything is ordered, just picked up the rims so here is a sneak preview...I will also be making a video of the install which is getting completed at a good friends shop and his crew. Stay tuned...

Had some time to get the tires installed. Suspension should be here this week so a few days of pre-lift wheels that were stuffed in there. Kind of digging the look.

Ended up going with the General Grabbers...They happen to have the Red Letter ones in stock at a deal.

After Install but before the side steps came off. They were rubbing...lol

After the steps came off...right before an Arizona Monsoon storm rolled.

Haha thats another project in progress. Purchased it from the original family that purchased it new. Runs and drives, the interior is in amazing shape. Some maintenance stuff happening and then it may be my daily for a bit! currently sitting at 203k miles!
