I suppose you could have the right portion of the box built a little higher, but as Cruisin stated, the curve of the outer quarter panel may impede that. I think it's an 8" and I presume that is a Reus Audio amp sitting on top of the enclosure. They positioned the sub to 'exit' the vent in the rear quarter panel and just covered the back side of the OEM sub grill with black felt. Guess they couldn't move the new sub up high enough to use the stock sub location. All I know is that with this sub, the center channel speakers in my rear view mirror and new front door speakers, I've got a rolling concert hall. Still have stock deck, amp and remaining speakers.
