Looking and endlessly searching to compare different lift kits for my gx470. I will be using vehicle as daily driver with lots of off-road in high Rockies. I live in Crested Butte so we have quite a few passes etc I take for camping etc. reliability and comfort are important. I actually love the stock suspension but need more clearance, also the stock suspension feels great over bumps etc but has some pretty gnar body roll at speed.

I’m looking at Toytec boss 2.0 kit
Ome nitro kit with light load and softer valving
Dobinsons ims or twin tube

We have lots of washboard type roads. Medium speeds. Twisty roads to the city when I do some longer drives (6 hours or so). Mostly town/backcountry trail stuff.

Seems people really like the ims, little more than I want to spend but also don’t want to regret my purchase. Ome is maybe stiff but hard to say as most people have the stiffer valving it seems. The toytec boss look amazing but not a ton of reviews on them.

Hey! So went with Dobinsons ims. 2.5” after taking with several people locally. Going to get Dobinsons uca’s as well. Shop is giving me good deal. Can’t wait!!!

Congrats! All are good options, hard to go wrong really.
I’m sure you’ll fully enjoy the Dobinson’s…smart move getting UCA‘s as well.
Report back once you have some miles on them.
