Due to some questionable weather-related decisions I made last night, I didn't bail on my campsite before the rain and snow came in. Now the steep road down the mesa is too muddy and slippery for me to (by my skill level) go down.
On the likely off chance that someone knows where it is, I'm on the north side of fr 239 on Chivato Mesa in Cibola NF. It's farther down the old highway from Cabezon.
I tried and got about 20% down, decided to call it quits after doing a 180 on a shelf going about 2 mph.
Any help will be appreciated, stuff like tire chains or maxtrax would be a godsend.
I'll probably start walking out when I get light, send me a text at 5054127909 for more info (or just to make fun of me.)
