I have an 83 Land cruiser that is stuck in park. I push the brake and push the button on the shifter and it is locked in park. The button still seems to work but the handle won't move. I tried making a difference with the overdrive button, hitting the shifter some in case it needed a jolt, the 4 wheel low doesn't move either. ??

Strange days indeed. What model Cruiser are you talking about here. "80 Series Tech" refers to FZJ80 Landcruisers not 1980-1989 Landcruisers. So I think we need a little mo detail. FJ62 perhaps? Can't be.....
Do you have a 1993 Land Cruiser? Need more info.

Because you refer to an AT and OD button I'm assuming you meant a 93. I.d first check your break lights to se if any are burnt out. In the mean time there is a small oval whole above the shifter. Stick a screw driver in it and the shifter should come out of park.
Just in case...remember you also have to have the break peddle depressed to shidt out of park.

Yeah, probably the brake light fuse.
Definatly check the fuse, if it's blown depressing the brake pedal doesn't unlock the park mechanism. If you've got a scanner, check the function of the tail light lights or have a bud check them out in the rear. good luck if it's not the fuse.
