My ABS kicks in when I am stopping and in a turn at the same time. For instance, if I am turning into a parking spot, the ABS will activate just before I approach the curb and come to a complete stop.

Straight ahead braking is not a problem. There was no issue with this until I rebuilt the rear axle about 6 weeks ago. However, the ABS sensor was cleaned and replaced properly. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance

If it wasn't an issue until the rear axle service was done, it's likely those. Pull the sensors and check to make sure that they don't have metal shavings on them (easy to do). The rear axle has a single ABS line, means that if either tire is going to stop spinning it kicks in for both.

If your LSPV is not adjusted properly, you may be getting enough braking force to lock up a tire when turning (as the weight is lifted off the rear tire on the inside of the turn), which would trigger ABS. Stopping straight doesn't have this issue because the weight is more evenly distributed.

My '94 was doing the same thing. Everything checked out ok, Sensors etc. It came down to a false activating ABS solenoid in the ABS pump assy. I simply disconnected the electrical connectors at the pump and pulled the ABS bulb out of the dash. I realize its not really a fix, however the brakes work great, but no ABS.
