That's a hottub for a midget.

I couldn't resist Rob's post. It's just the smartass in me. I love it!
But I have to agree with my other bro Kevin. Cutting a hole in the rear floor is a pretty serious decision. There are many better ways of making rear area storage that do not require that level of commitment. There are many threads on 80 series tech that deal with this subject.
If you don't want to really commit, there is always my approach. Rubbermaid makes roller trays to fit under a twin bed. They fit perfectly in the back of the 80. I have two in the back of my 80. The right one carries all of the tools, Winch controls, Tow straps, Tire patches, and the tire pump. The left one carries the chairs, tables, CB radio, antenna, and etc. On the sides next to them are located; on the right, a 2000w power inverter (I can run a microwave or a table saw) On the left side, jumper cables, a gallon of coolant, 2 gallons of oil, a bottle of brake fluid. These things are in the truck at all times. I don't leave home without them.
Over all of this, I have a plywood panel to keep it all contained. That is important, more than you might think.
Back in my desert buggy days..(Read as an off-road sports car going way too fast on rough roads.) I learned about UFO's. Unidentified flying objects are dangerous. Once an object such as a hammer hits your head, you may not identify it until you wake up from your coma. :whoops: So it is best to make sure that it is tied down and is unable to hit your head while you are trying to drive. It really sucks to get hit in the head

when you need to pay attention to the trail. So be sure to tie everything down securely. Loose equipment in the truck is unsafe. Tie everything down really tight. Even a small item like a camera can hurt in a rollover. Ask Rob. His camera was crushed in his roll. It didn't really take any real blow, it just hit the wall when the truck went over. Tie everything down securely!
