well i tore it down. Torqed everything and put it back together. In the process of refilling radiator. Put in couple quarts of water and 2 gallons of antifreeze so far. Ran it for a minute opened the radiator back up too soon and took a antifreeze bath. Tastes nasty.

drove it into town today. No leakes and no overheating. But also no heat!!. Looks like a new thermostat and seal are in my future. Also my water pump belt (small one) is way too loose. Got to pick up a couple new nuts and bolts and tighten it up. Otherwise looks like i am done. Time to move on to the next headache.
