Oh man, I am sorry to see this. Good luck finding it. I notice every 80 series within eye shot, so I will definitely be on the lookout.

Stand down folks! She has been located! Just got a call from PD. truck was found in north Fort Worth. On my way there now to see what's what.

Glad she was found! Hope any damage will be minimal.

Good to hear that the truck has been found. Keep us posted on any new wrinkles in the story. Would really like to see pics of damage as well.

Took a look and no real damage to the truck. the driver's door cylinder is popped out but the metal appears fine. Thank God for that. Column looks normal and key operates as it should.

Not sure how they got it going. I have my keys and the hidakey was still tucked up inside of the rear bumper.

Scangauge was still there.

I tried to start it but no go. Didn't surprise me as the starter has been acting funky in the cold. Couple raps with a hammer and we are good to go.

Did have to raise the seat backs and change the radio station.

Thanks again folks!

Change the starter contacts
Probably used a shaved down key
Was the radio station they left it on "urban" in nature?

I'm glad you got it back whole. It sux that you have to lock vehicles in a garage or behind a fence to repel car thieves.

Thanks for the update. Glad everything seems OK!

Awesome you got it back!!! Why would anyone steal a truck like this for joy riding? Dont make any sense. Oh well, glad you got her back!!!

Why yes, it actually was.

I'm going to check into the starter. Done just about everything else on this truck. Thinking about options to replace door lock.

Oh wow, so lucky. I would be stressed out as can be if it were to happen to any of my cars. Glad you got it back and just had to change the seat and radio settings!

Curious, what help would that information be? Other than perhaps the alleged car thief *possibly* being of young age and listening to mainstream crap and of poor mind and direction (which can describe a LOT of kids today)? I listen to 570 AM KLIF (the one that *used* to air Michael Savage, O'rielly, Glen Beck). Yet, I'm a 30 something middle of the road Paki --an unusual demographic statistic from what I understand about 570's listeners. :hmm:
