When I left for work this morning at 0330 my 1999 Honda Civic was still there in the driveway, but when my wife came out to warm it up at 0700 it was gone. She drives that car eveyday so after she filed a police report I had to come home and give her my car. Well I guess it is back to driven the cruiser everyday. It will get some good exercise.

F@#king AS@holes thieves

Your car is now in ChiHuaHua, kiss it goodbye and hope that you insurance covers ya. Fawkin theivin assed bastards just piss me off. (Silver lining) There was never a better excuse to upgrade the Cruiser to make it more suitable for DD status.

Thus the reason to buy a beater commuter.

Know what some high-paid execs for GM/Ford/Chrysler drive in Detroit. POSs. Otherwise they get stolen. I keep my Ford Probe as my commuter with the dash halfway off (on purpose due to my own wiring experiments), dog hair all over the back seat, old clothes and crap in the passenger seat.

It may be worth $100 on trade-in value. BUT, it's had M1 most of it's life, drives like the day it came off the lot, have NEVER (yes, NEVER) had it not start, 100s of thousands of miles are planned. Stolen? Doubt it.

Sorry to hear about that ec130.
3fj40, kinda sounds like my position. Got a 94 plain Jane Toy pickup, 22RI, dirty, front grill bashed from hitting two dogs, not much to look at. But gets about 30mpg, and can pull Black Canyon at about 90.
