Does it have the factory alarm? That's quite a obstacle to bypass if it does. Unless it's a 98 which are easier to steal. Sorry for your loss man.

Unfortunately, I left it unlocked with the keys inside. I know, I know. Trust me, I'm kicking myself.

I misplaced my keyless entry remote which had become detached from my key ring. As you know, if you don't leave the key in the ignition, the security system will lock the vehicle on its own. My factory key won't operate the manual locks when it's cold, so I gambled and left the key in it for a few hours to avoid being locked out in the morning.

I live in a town of less than 3,000 residents, same as Nevada City, so I didn't think too much of it at the time. As we all know, hindsight is 20-20, and I deeply regret not securing my rig.
