I'm replacing my rear main seal and figured that I should replace my clutch at the same time. The shop that rebuilt (seals and bearings) my tranny and TC 100,000km ago (at 300,00km) put in a Valeo korean clutch kit and turfed my factory unit, with over half the disc life remaining. Sigh. And they didn't put in a main seal at the time either....
I'm going back to a factory clutch and have been very confused at the P/N required to get a new pressure plate assembly. TOYODiy and toyota have diagrams and listings for;

-31210, a cover assy, clutch at around $250,
-*31201, a cover sub assy, clutch for around $360, and
-31221, a plate, clutch pressure at around $260.

I called the dealership and they wanted to order the first and third item to get me a full clutch pressure plate assembly. Oh, and the pressure plate has to come from Japan...
Got Steve at EBI to order the parts for me and it turns out that the first item, current P/N 31210-36102, is the full deal with a cover and pressure plate combined. It is riveted together. It seems the other two more expensive units are the same thing but they can be bolted together....
Hope this help someone trying to order a 3B clutch kit from Toyota!
