Stock rims can wear??

Hi there - was hoping to get some info as to the maximum tire size (height) I can safely put on a set of stock rims. Thanks!

Tire size is usually determined by rim width. If you have a 60, then probably a 31" x 10.5" tire would be max. I'd think anything wider would not work.

Okay thanks. This helps. I currently run 33 x 12.5 and they are not helping with fuel efficiency. I don't plan on doing any significant off-roading and am planning on switching to a narrower and lighter tire. Any reco's?

pretty much any dia by 9-10.5"ish wide tire.
