In the recent thread about the 80's 4x4 capabilties compared to others it got me thinking... so today i was bored and went out and took these shots of my completely stock 94 FJ80....the suspension is all original with 232,000 miles......not bad

Whats my secret? i dont know....just love the truck so i take care of it...We bought it used with 30k miles from a very respected used car dealership in town...he always has vehicles that have been taken care of very well. The first 200k miles were also driven by my mother who has a perfect driving record. that was the only plus to having her drive it, she made it last longer i think. I dont think its planning on dieing anytime soon either, i hope to see 350k before a rebuild..

Front lights are blacked out, relocated to the corner marker where pple can actually see them.
Grill is a Trenz grill, BUT they don't fit out the box, it took a couple of hours of modifying and manipulating to get it to fit well. The mounts that come with the grill are also worthless so I had to fab some of my own. Where do i find it? google searching and not letting my vision of what my 80 can look like be limited to what's available in the US. Japan and AUS do some crazy things...hOmeDepot's a cool place to get ideas too.

your right, it probably was the garage. but the 80 has been kicked out of there now b/c the 100 gwts first dibs i guess.....whatever
