I have a fridge and a fridge slide. Over the 20+ years of ownership, I've had to replace the fridge cable because it's gotten caught in the slide and nicked.

That is a great choice. I run a similar setup in both my offroad camper and in my 200 when I have it set up for long trips.

 
@alvarorb you're almost there. The moving end on the chain just needs to be secured with a bracket to the fridge slide. When fully extended, the chain should make a complete U-turn just before said bracket, like in the diagram. You might have to position the chain back a little further to accomplish that.

Good point. I did that after I took those pictures. I did this mod back in November.
