Still shopping

After a sooner than expected move to Texas from Memphis, TN and the dust settling on a home purchase here, we are still shopping for a 200 series. I got a call in to a dealership in OK city that has a 2009 listed for 34K with 87k miles. I've tried to plug the VIN into the toyota app for service history and it won't accept me as the owner. Anybody called or looked at this vehicle yet and can give me their thoughts? Thanks all.

Welcome to Memphis. I grew up there; all of my very large family is there. Good city. PM me the VIN, and I will give it a try. It's possible that its already in the system, and it won't allow the VIN to be associated with a different user.

Thanks MScruiser. Memphis is a great town and we enjoyed it but it was missing family so that brought us back to Tx. I got the VIN to work and the readout was hit and miss. Something's were recorded in carfax and some were in the toyota history.. It almost looks too good to be true. I haven't heard back from the dealership yet so hopefully get a better idea tomorrow

Thats the way my VIN was too on the site. Different records than carfax. All turned out fine though, FWIW.

The toyota dealership should certainly be able to access records if they were performed by toyota.

I might be inclined to sell my one of a kind. Haven't listed it yet and may not ever.

2014, 15K miles, full ICON suspension, fatty tires, mint condition, no expenses spared. $73K the end.

Finally pulled the trigger on a black 08 with 60K miles. Drives like a dream. I appreciate all the info on the forums here and the input from the members. Great resource. Now to start the wish list...

Pictures will come soon.. Paid 38.7K for it. They had it online for 40.9, he dropped to 39.9 pretty quick. Probably could have gotten a little more but we had a drive back to the Austin area from Houston with a 14 month old that needed to get started. All in all I'm very happy with the purchase and the many years ahead with a 200.
