Removing 3rd row seatbelts— still a mystery to me (3 Viewers)

Hey guys,

For whatever reason I cant find an easy guide on removing the seat belts in the cargo area. I cant tell if it's going to be something more difficult than it looks because I've read some people saying they just cut the seatbelt etc. I want to be able to install them at a later time if I decide to put my dog in the center row somehow with a kennel. But for now I want to remove the belts completely.

Anyone have a guide or see a video that I'm missing out on? Step by step would be preferred. Thank you!

Third seat row seat belt delete

I deleted the third row seat belts. Now I have two more tie down points but I'm going to put a platform in back so that is a moot point for me. The top seat bolts could be helpful, but they are a tapered design. I'm off to Ace tomorrow ro see what I can fit. I removed the top fitting and cut...

I pulled mine and it's relatively straightforward. You will need to remove the cargo area side panels to get access to everything. There's only 3 bolts per belt, one for the assembly, one for the upper guide, and one for the lower anchor point. This video from Victory 4x4 on molle panel installation covers the side panel removal. As for dog kennel installation, you could always put the bolts back in with some tie down rings so you won't have to worry about messing with the side panels again.
