Stereo help needed

Wife wants to do this as a ChristmaS present. Any suggestions for units that are nice, stock looking, less than $400, etc. Also, I replaced door speakers with the pols that were recommended. Sub is trashed. Amp sound weak. Any suggestions in these areas?

You should consider the overall system replacement... the factory is all garbage.

Headunit - Any Double DIN that floats your boat.
Front Doors - 2way component speaker
Rear Doors - 2way coaxial
Sub - your choice 8, 10, 12
Amp - 5 Channel ARC, JL Audio or Alpine

If you're looking for single DIN, check out the Kenwood KIV-BT901.

As I've been researching HUs, this one keeps popping up as one of the most popular units in my area.

It has bluetooth, Pandora, iPod/iPhone integration, rear view camera support, and a color screen.

$369 on Crutchfield at present, but may be found cheaper at your local car audio shop.

If I wasn't going to go with a double DIN, this one might be at the top of the list.

I think I prefer dbl DIN. I was considering a CB in dash, but have changed plan.
