Steering Wheels - What years fit what?

Does the 2016 steering wheel fit the 2015?
If so does the wood grain match?

I am wondering what years the 2016 fits? I know it fits 2016+, but what lower years if any?

The 16+ steering wheel is notorious for the leather falling apart.. no idea why someone would want to stick one in an earlier year-model rig.

Wondering if the wood trim color is the same 2015 and 2016, and if the wheel would fit.

My 2008 steering wheel has been rewrapped and so is in pretty good shape but I would love to retrofit the heated wheel from a 2016+ LX. Little more info here:

So I've recently come across this guy on YouTube during my general search for LX content - Last Line of Defense. Although he's more of a lifestyle channel, he does have a 2008-ish LX that he's done quite a few things to. Regardless of his other stuff, he does seem to take the time to do his research on what he's doing and is pretty knowledgeable.

Something in particular he did recently was swap over the steering wheel from what looks like a newer LX. From the video below (starting around 35:40 minute mark) it looks like it's just plug and play. Has anyone done this successfully? I'm...

I have searched and searched here and on the interweb and can’t find an answer to whether or not a land cruiser in LX 570 steering wheels are interchangeable. I’m in the market for a new as possible LX 570 but I had the three spokes steering wheel on a Rx Lexus of mine and I simply could not get used to the bottom post. I prefer when I’m backing up and driving on long trips to be able to put my hand on the center of the bottom of the wheel. I wanted to know if I can simply buy a steering wheel from a land cruiser and swap it into a newer LX 570. Of course I know it’s not gonna match. It...
