I have a 2006 100 series. My steering wheel is getting pretty rough. Any suggestions how to upgrade my current one? Maybe even get one with the grey wood trim? Thanks

An option to consider.....

There are some nice options on ebay. Just serach "land cruiser steering wheel" on there.

@LCVol ... when searching eBay, remember that the 2003 and up steering wheels are different than the 98-02. May have already known that. There are subtle differences between the two wheels that are not always obvious when viewing just the steering wheel core. Other options to consider would be WheelSkins (leather stitch on covers) or sending to CraftCustoms in Dallas TX (Custom Steering Wheels | Wood Steering Wheel | Repair | Restoration) These guys are legit and can do anything with a steering wheel (wood, carbon fiber, flat bottom, 10/2 nubs, etc). The only issue there is that you'd be without a vehicle for a few weeks during the turnaround. Unless, of course, you have a backup wheel or just affix a plumbers wrench to the steering nut and drive that way (don't do that). :)

+1 on the wheelskin. Good quality leather, about 40 mins to install and makes a TON of difference on the chewed up Steering Wheel. I am also looking to these guys to recondition the interior of my truck, they will do the Steering wheel, front and second row of seats, re-dye the brown on the side panels, and recondition the center leather console cover for 580. Supposed to make it look factory new again and last for years, provided I take regular care of the leather:

Came recommended from a buddy of mine that does fleet vehicle management.

I have a beat up wheel that I can lend out if needed. Just PM me for details. Not looking for $$ or anything like that, just can't get myself to throw it away because I know someone can use it, even if it is temporary. You pay shipping to you and back, that's it.

That's awesome to do that. There is a 98-02 wheel floating about. Several of us, me included, have used it to get our wheels recovered by Craft Customs in TX or Santoni Steering Wheels in FL. You're looking at about $300 for a professional recover plus all the shipping charges...

Ive been considering the Wood wheel off ebay from my 01 LC, looks like the dark wood matches the wood trim. Ive always wanted a wood wheel on a car. Anyone have one and have nay issues, seems pretty straight forward.

I purchased this wheel off Ebay-http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-07-Toyota-Land-Cruiser-Steering-Wheel-Tan-Leather-W-Woodgrain-4510245010E0-/281967348930?hash=item41a6904cc2

Looks great on my cruiser and was very easy to Install. I mean -really easy.
