Crimson yours seems to have a different grip with those big raised ridges near the 9 and 3 positions and also near the 4 and 7 positions. The ones on the links seem to be smooth all the way around. Did you notice that?

Please post up a review when you get it. I was going to order this wheel also but really prefer a full leather vs wood / leather combo so I have been waiting to see if something pops up on ebay as a new option.

If you are going to sell your original steering wheel I'd be a buyer.

I prefer leather as well however the wheel continues to be a wear item. I will try the wood and leather and see what happens. Now, I need to figure out new covers and padding for the arm rests and new cover for the center console lid.

Oh yah, immediately, but I honestly prefer it. If it had been an option I would have opted for it.

You can see in the picture that the steering wheel is a tad lighter than the wood trim. For what it's worth, this is not the factory wood trim. I replaced it from a kit on eBay.

The leather is in fact slightly off color. The airbag is pretty old, probably from 1998 so it has discolored, I assume from oils in the previous owner's hands.

My buddy has the same looking steering wheel in his 2010 Tacoma. The first gen tundras also have the same looking steering wheel.

Same looking. Don't know if it's same in every way.
