Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had this issue. ON OCCASSION, (say 50% of time) from a stop the steering wheel will pull to the left. Once Im up to about 20 mph it levels out. No pull even if I take my hands off when I am driving.

Also, I have a rattle on that side that seems to go away when I brake. When driving and hitting bumps I can hear it. Dunno if they are related. I thought at first it was a loose engine cover or loose oil access panel but that seems tight. Now I am wondering if it is a sticking caliper and the brake shoe is rattling, but I don't notice any pulling at breaking.

Thoughts?
Thanks!

Steering rack bushings?

check your left front brake assembly?

I'll check that out. There are no modifications or lift. It's an 01 with 90k

Check tire pressure too. I had a bunch of weird handling issues, turns out a tire was low but didn't look it. Filled it up, drove fine.

Okay, so the brake shoes are rattling inside the caliper, they work when braking is applied. I will probably need to do the calipers at some point. That tire was also low so the pulling seems to be less once I filled the tire. I also noted it is a slightly different tire from the other three so that probably doesn't help. So mystery solved.

And......a little WD 40 on the caliper has solved the rattling!! Now just how to figure out where to put the duck tape!
