Steering Wheel Interchange ability and sizes

Yep, the horn ring contact has a slightly different radius, we just loosened the screw on the wiper contact and moved it over. The early wheel has two turn signal cancel pins, the later only one, so drilled an 1/8" hole in the proper location and added a roll pin.

IIRC, this one is out of a '91, some, more common in the '93-94ish are leather wrapped and likely in bad condition, nearing end of life, the plain wheels hold up better. All of the wheels from the '90ish area fit, some are nice, but most like the Camry are brazened with the model name, some of the more basic cars (like the Paseo, etc) have plain wheels that just have Toyota on them and look/work nice..

I've never considered replacing the wheel before, but I really like the way that looks. Do you have any pictures to where the wheel meets the cover of the column?

I just put Nardi Torino wooden steering wheel on mine and it just look great...It is not Toyota,but looks classic...Steering wheel was 650,- so it is not cheap...It uses Grant adapter and Nardi adapter to Grant ad that's it...I guess not everybody likes that look but for me is fantastic...I can switch between OEM and Nardi anytime..,,.
