Steering stops....one of mine is collapsed, should I do something about it? (1 Viewer)

Went outside to look at the panhard bar mount on the axle for another thread and noticed my passenger side steering stop on the axle housing is collapsed. Is this something to worry about, or am I being like e9999?

Dude, WTF? You're slacking! You replied to one of my threads and there's not one smarta$$ comment in it?!?!

BTW, do you weld/have a welder, and what's the condition of your stops? Maybe we can make this a joint project come May. I can lug my welder up there if absolutely necessary, but it's a bit cumbersome.

I'm cutting you a break man.

No welder only acytelene at my pops place we use on the farm.

I can mig/tig a little but my stick skills are lacking.

Don't know if I'd trust myself on stops anyway would have to take a hard look.

Will look at mine this weekend although I think there fine.

For the mini trucks, people are cutting them off and replacing them with a small hunk of solid steel. No hollow stuff to collapse.

Either replace them with something thicker (lots of work) or cap them (not as much work)... With the addition of hydro-assist, I had to address mine, they got trashed with the PS, so they didn't stand a chance

The one that is collapsed is damn near non-existant now, so I'll probably just grind it off and weld on a piece of solid stock.
