Got a noise coming from under front side of my LC about a week ago. Took a look and appears that a steering rack boot has come apart. Anyone ever have this happen? Can fix be new boot or does entire rack need to be replaced?

Oh...follow up question. I did a 2"ARB lift this summer. Could lift have contributed to this boot failure? Or is it more likely I rolled over something in the field which damaged the boot?

The boots are available separately...they're about $20-$25 each. You'll need to remove the tie rod to replace the boot.
