So this weekend I got a chance to drive one of my friends LX450 and noticed that his steering felt tighter as in it would center more easily and it required more force to turn. To me this means he has more positve caster. The thing is he is running the OME heavy springs (from ClownMidget to be exact) with Mr. Gasket spacers in front and no caster bushings.

On my truck I am running Slee arms, J springs and 20mm of spring packers all around. My truck sits maybe .5 to 1 inch higher than his and he has no extra weight were as I have the Kaymar bumper with goodies. So why would my truck handle lighter than his? I don't know the caster of my truck stock and last time I had it checked without the spacers it was 2.9 and 3.4 degrees positive. I want to check it again to see if it's changed any (at the time I had it checked my sway bar was on upsidedown, don't ask).

Does the caster on these trucks vary that much from truck to truck?

I'm running 295/75/16 BFG ATs with 40 psi and he has 285/75/16 BFG MTs at street presure (I'll have to email him to get the exact amount)

I noticed a big improvement in handling when the ARB went on. With just the Kaymar back there the nose was considerably lighter and felt floaty at times.

Now go out and git you a front bumper!!

You read my mind. ;) It should be at my house later this week. :D
