I know that all of the gurus and old timers know this and it is simple but I thought I would share my experience.
Had the truck for 2 years now. I attributed all of the slop to knuckle rebuild, TREs, REs, etc.. Did all of that and now got around to doing the 10 min adjustment and what a difference...
Even with a worn and leaking steering box it feels nice and tight.
I don't have it touching drivers side steering bump on the knuckle and can't honestly say that it was doing so before I did the adjustment. I went 1 full turn on the screw. Hope it helps someone and thanks to all...
