An opportunity presented itself a few months back to buy a well loved for '07 Cruiser from a good friend who recently replaced it with an '15 Cruiser. At the time we had a built 3rd Gen 4Runner that had served the family well for quite some time. I had no intentions of selling it but the allure of a clean, one owner, well kept '07 Hundy was too much to pass up. My friend purchased this truck new in '07 and he's the type that will take it to dealer for everything so I knew she had been well loved and cared for. We both agreed on a price and closed a deal, he got his fancy new 200 series and I got a well loved 100 series.

We were able to find a new home for the 4Runner (to another Mud member) so the planning and building of the Hundy began.

Build List To Date:

OME 865 Rears
Cranked Tbars
OME Nitro Chargers
Slee Step Sliders
ARB Combo Bar
295/70r18 Nitto Trail Grappler MTs
18" Tundra Steelies
Rhino Rack 3 Bar System
Roof Top Tent
Custom Rear Drawer/Fridge System
ARB 50qt Fridge
ARB Awning
Optima Red Top
Overhead DVD Player for kiddos

More to come...

Short trip to Fort Fisher beach, NC testing out the set-up with the kids prior to driving out west.

A few pics from the road trip in September. We spent a few days in the San Juan on Imogene Pass and Last Dollar road. Then we traveled to Moab, UT area and ran Fins-n-Things and few other trails. It was EPIC trip and great time spent on the road with the wife. In total we covered 4300ish miles and 10 days on the road from NC to CO and UT.

Haven't updated my build thread in couple of weeks, however I have been working on the Hundy. Got the Slee rear bumper installed with a matching spare and rear 864 springs. I still need to install the OME Torsion bars as my stock bars are maxed out.

I am now dealing with the front OME shocks topping out so a different front shock/UCA set-up will be added to the never ending list.

where did you get those wheels?

Looks like they are tundra take-offs. Should be on Craigslist all day for about $30 each....I ran those for years, some complain they are too heavy, never bothered me.

30 dollars?! Geez that is essentially free

All the 100 and 200 I saw in Saudi had these wheels

Correct! 18x8 Tundra Steelies. Bought a set of 4 off a local CL add for $80. Sanded them down with a red scotch brite pad and shot them with Duplicolor Graphite paint prior to having the tires installed. My only drawback is they are indeed heavy when compared to the 18" LC alloys that came on my truck. Then again every accessory I've added to this truck is heavy so its not like I can really tell a difference at this point :)

What brand and size of rooftop tent are you running (the black tent blends in great)?

The tent is a one off deal, sort of a prototype if you will. It's modeled after a Maggiolina Airtop. Size is approximately 58" W x 84" L. It's mounted to a Rhino Rack 3 Bar system like the image below.

What size tires and lift are on the wagon in the photo in front of the shops in Telluride?

OME 865 Rear Springs with a trim packer or two and stock front torsion bars cranked up a bit. Tire size is 275/70r18 Falken ATS in those pics.
