not outrageous yet for an OEM stamped metal bezel. Ones in good shape are kinda rare.

I better put the 2 that I have in a vault!

i understand the whole supply and demand thing, but i'll stick with my replica grille ;)

I paid $200 for one....................

but it was stuck to a '62 FJ40. :flipoff2:

Now I know what to watch for at the wreckers (jonkers)!

I know that my cruiser didn't come with a stamped bezel, or a t-bird emblem, but I want one/both bad.

Totally willing to wait like I had to for origional hub caps cause I'm in no condition to pay ebay like prices for an origional one. Nothing against what Tim has for sale, but I like the hunt for an origional.

Something tells me I am not alone

I run a repro bird and a repro bezel on the LWB. It spends a LOT of time out on the road, and I like not having to worry about babysitting it like I would with OE stuff.

Same reason all my NOS clear bib light assemblies are still in the safe.:grinpimp:

FEELER......Would anyone be interested in a Carbon Fiber bezel?? I've got a bunch of CF left over from another project...just thought I'd throw that out there! But, wow over 500 for an original bezel....thats amazing!!

I thought eshan in pakistan was making them at one time.

i was wondering how hard would it be for someone, a metal fabrication company, to reproduce the stamped bezel? does anyone make a reproduction steel bezel?

It would be a cost-prohibitive venture here in the USA.

Ehsan made them back in ’03, and they were a limited run deal. A similar thread was going on PPB and he posted about making them again, but I would not hold your breath.

Purchase a ‘glass one and move on. They are nice and 99% of the Land Cruiser people out there will not know the difference.
