UPDATE: Lubed hood latch components as suggested and no more noise. 😬

Just started recently noticing a squeak when going over bumps or small imperfections in the road at slower speeds, pretty much anything that creates suspension travel. Appears to be coming from the front end. Kinda like a squeaky door hinge sorta.

Interestingly enough it also makes a very similar if not the same noise when I close either front door with a little bit of force (not slamming). But it doesn’t make said noise when the hood is open and closing the door.

Probably a coincidence but I noticed it very shortly (within a day or 2) after flushing my brake fluid. I thought I somehow left a plastic funnel in the engine bay under the engine covers or something… but does not appear to be the case. Out of ideas.

i've been having some 'chirping' whenever i go over any little bumps as well. only noticeable when i roll windows down to hear. my situation is likely suspension: i replaced both upper and lower control arms (adjustable spc upper and oem lower) about two years ago. the ball joint boot on the spc upper appears to be leaking but i've read the boot is open on the bottom so im not sure if its that or maybe my mechanic torqued the suspension before it was resting on the ground maybe bound up the bushings? i greased the uca zerk and it just bled right out of the boot, sprayed some silicone on all of the front end bushings and the chirping is still there. gonna take the tires off and flex it to see if i can pinpoint the noise. definitely coming from the front end. please post if you find your squeak maybe ill chase that down too.

Will do, hopefully I don’t need to go to the same lengths as you haha. But interestingly enough I feel like I hear it better when the windows are up and I don’t get the outside ambient road noise and such.

Try lubing your hood latch. That cured my squeak that was similar to yours.

Finally, one of my issues is taken care of with the easy fix. I had a chirp which I thought was from the suspension. I could have sworn it was from the driver's side front suspension but when I lubed the hood latch and backed out the hood bumpers a half-turn it went away. Yah!!!!
