Good morning

I'm trying to track down a part number and use this thread as documentation for others. I used the forum last week for an alternator/belt change. Followed the advice of others and it took less than 45 mins, thank you guys!

I need to replace a piece due to damage. It's the slider/adjuster/square block item as illustrated in this pic. I've located the related part numbers, but this last piece is eluding me. It slides across the arm and the bolt going through it threads into the bottom of the alternator.

Pic was borrowed from another thread, cropped, and labeled...couldn't find the thread again to give credit to the original poster. Spent a solid two hours last night trying to track down this piece!

Anybody know the part number?

Thank you baselfish, would not have guessed to find it in Radiator/cooling section. My 6-month pregnant wife who muds/drives it daily also says thanks!

For documentation: Fan Belt Sliding Adjuster part# 16385-17010 (Threaded square block for adjusting tension of fan belts in 80-series LC)

Thanks @velocijones and @baselfish for posting this info. I discovered this past November while going through a radiator/hose/etc. replacement that this entire assembly is MISSING on my truck from the PO, in addition to the idler pulley. I have had to use a large pry bar and tighten the $&*7 out of the alternator bolt to get it to hold in place. I didn't know it when I took it all apart because my belts failed, so I didn't have to "take apart" that part of things, only put it back together once I got all the other carnage fixed.
