It's almost here! Just a few last minute things to take care of, then pack and load the 40 on the trailer, pick up a guest at the airport, then I'm off!

So, please check in here if you are planning to leave for the OBX from the Triangle area on Wednesday morning. I plan on getting an early start, and it would be nice to have a group to caravan with. Now, by "early start", I'm open for suggestions from others, but I was thinking 7:00 at the latest, maybe earlier depending on responses.

We'll be leaving from New Bern and taking the Cedar Island ferry. We'll synch up in Frisco.

 R

Heather and I MAY already be there. We'll be in the group if we don't leave early.

Save me a spot! ;)

So far that's 1 "see ya there" and 2 maybe's.

Yeah save me a good spot also. Preferably near where we had the camp fire last year. I'm normally the last to go to bed and don't want to walk too far. :grinpimp:

Heading out Thursday morning, sorry I can't make the caravan. I'll be hunting for boiled peanuts on the way over, and need to stop in Manteo for dog treats for all of the pooches (Rudy the unholy terror is not coming, Jacob the Good Son is).

I'll take a look at a map this weekend and post something up about where/when to meet up for those who'd like to join in the drive.

There's a Bojangles in Knightdale on 64. The address is 7525 U.S. Hwy 64E, Knightdale. How does that work as a meeting place for y'all? 7:00am at the Bo?

So while were talking about meeting, what is everyone thinking there speed is going to be on the way out? I ask this for some of those that might be towing.

I'll try and keep up. ;)

I guess we'll kinda gauge who is slowest and try to keep around their speed.

I'll be leaving Thursday afternoon in case anyone is heading out then from the Triangle.
